We know that seeing self -reference is one of the most common alerts that make us think that our site is poorly labeled and although in many cases it is usually so we must understand why this happens.
But how do I know if my site is mislabeled?
Multi Domains and subdomains.
Your site may be labeled correctly, but if you use several domains or multidomnia, the following can happen.
Example:
If you use a mysite.com domain, GOOGLE ANALYTICS cookies will work fine as long as you browse within the same domain, but if you also use a mysite.com.mx domain and the user moves from one domain to another, the cookies will not be recognized and the domain jump will count as a new session.
The session has expired.
The sessions on Google Analytics have a duration of 30 minutes, if the user was inactive on a single page of the site for more of this time and then return and see to sail on the site the session will start again taking as a source of reference your own site.
