According to a video from the Google Webmasters YouTube channel, a change is coming to Google's ad section algorithm for positioning.
The video explains the importance of having a responsive or mobile-friendly site, since in a short time the Google Adwords platform will grant a higher AdRank to sites that have these characteristics and thus offer greater quality of user experience.
The importance of this lies in the fact that a good site, in addition to having the particular characteristics to provide excellent navigation to the user, aims for it to be adaptable to the devices from which the person accesses the site. For this reason, the more comfortable the navigation is, the Google targeting networks will give a better rating to the site and therefore, will give it better web positioning.
As explained in the video referred to, a good site usage experience will keep users interacting with the site, so there is also a greater probability that the advertiser will achieve the advertising objective they set. search and thus the user also benefits from the service offered by Google in the first results of their search.
This new mobile usability feature will give greater reach to ads that direct users to responsive sites; so it is advisable to make the adjustments to the sites and the necessary transformations.
Google recommends that these changes to Adwords campaigns be in relation to three of the tools that the platform offers for campaign configuration:
Mobile optimization test. Tool that can be found in Google Webmaster, which allows you to know if your page is already correctly optimized for mobile phones and/or the changes that you must make to it to make it visible on mobile.
Mobile usability tool. It is the section in Google Webmasters that allows you to know the status of your website in relation to the user's navigation on your site from their mobile device. These data are the result of Google's interpretation.
PageSpeed Insights. It is a tool that allows you to validate the user experience, both on mobile and computer, based on tests carried out in terms of user experience, loading speed and general rating.
