On August 30, the Mexican Internet Association announced the winners of the 2019 Internet.MX Awards. Masclicks won the Turquesa Award in the category of Telecommunications, for the digital strategy Back to School for Totalplay.

The objective of these awards is to recognize the most effective and innovative digital strategies of the digital industry in Mexico in 14 categories: Food and beverages, Automotive, Education, Entertainment, Government, News, Retail, Health, Financial Services, Professional Services, Technology, Telecommunications, Tourism and finally, Social Responsibility.

Our client, Totalplay, is a Mexican telecommunications company that provides subscription television, internet and telephone services over a fiber optic network. Every year, Totalplay launches a campaign referring to Back to school, one of the most important times to position the Internet as a priority tool in today's education.

As a digital agency, Masclicks approached this season through two visions: What is leaving and what remains, and Everyone is going back to school. From this, the strategy was to explain that with the passage of time the world demands changes, emotion was used to connect with parents and students and the need for a faster internet connection was emphasized.

Finally, with Back to School we managed to maintain distance from the formula used by the competition and in addition, we created empathy with parents and their difficult task of returning to school with their children.

We are proud to do work of excellence and national and international recognition, with this, we contribute to the growth of our industry in Mexico and to raise quality standards in digital to deliver more value to the clients who trust us and of course, to the users and consumers who make up the ecosystem.
