It happens that you use Gmail, you use it all the time, for work, school, whatever you want. And you're almost out of space, how do you delete the millions of emails you have without losing an entire day of your life? Easy. Use Gmail's search filters.
By date
First filter all emails that are from two or more years ago and delete them. Gmail allows you to filter all emails older than an indicated year, use this filter to delete all results. If there is one that is really important, save it, but be strict, only the important ones, don't save them all again, if you didn't use them last year, you probably won't use them this year either.
By weight of attachments
Perhaps you no longer have emails from previous years and you still need to free up more space. We recommend that you now filter by weight of attachments. Many times they send you files that are very heavy and these are the ones that eat up the space in your account.
Go to the filter and search for all emails that have attachments (enabling the attachment check) and indicating a weight greater than 5 or 10 MB as in the image. Review them and if they are files that you will no longer use, delete them. You'll be surprised how much space you can free up by deleting emails with attachments you don't even use.
For some it will be the devil, but whatever it is for each person, Google makes many tasks easier for us through its tools. I hope these tips have been helpful to you. Happy day!
