Have you ever wondered what that Facebook option on profiles called touch is for?

The Help section of the social network tells us the following:

“The tap function can be used for various functions on Facebook. For example, you can tap your friends to say hello. If you tap a user who doesn't normally have access to your profile, they can temporarily see your basic, employment, and training information. If you tap someone, they will receive a tap alert on their home page.”

That is, a “poke” is a way to interact with your friends on Facebook, a way to meet people. Give a touch a good opportunity to start a conversation with those contacts you have added to that social network.

If you tap a user who doesn't normally have access to your profile, they can temporarily see your basic, employment, and training information.  “Giving a touch” is like touching a person “virtually.” Something like to attract attention.

What happens if you don't answer a call? Nothing. However, the other person can send you one again. It's that simple.
