The Tax Administration Service (SAT) published yesterday a statement through its official site, a new rule that protects the buyer from unclear practices in issuing the invoice.

This new rule establishes that the buyer should not acquire his invoice through actions such as entering a portal to obtain it; It is the obligation of the seller to issue it directly and at the time the purchase is made.

"With these actions the SAT reiterates its commitment to facilitate taxpayers to fulfill their tax obligations, with measures that speed up their commercial transactions," they emphasize in the statement.
