Many times we do not realize that time is an irreplaceable resource, if we know how to use it, we can achieve greater productivity and effectiveness in our daily activities.
What should we do? Optimizing the day in the following way can help us have a clear objective and achieve our goals:
- Analyze flow of activities (how to invest your time).
- Eliminate time thieves (those things, people that distract us).
- Learn techniques to take advantage of your time (prioritize activities).
- Create or find tools to organize and plan your time.
- Develop skills to better manage your collaborators (if everyone improves their times, they will work more on what is important and not on what is urgent).
The following is a formula that works to improve times and prioritize activities, achieving a more directed and dedicated focus of efforts to make more things happen in less time if we do correct registration and monitoring:
- Activity time.
- Duration and team involved.
- Description and objectives thereof.
- Category, if it belongs to a specific area and what it helps us for.
Type of work, knowing it can help us make decisions. By identifying the importance of our activities, we can focus our highest energy on primary activities, those of greatest importance and that we know can help us achieve substantial changes in our company, business and activities.
Not everything remains in the good intention of doing it and seeing what happens, what has been learned must be shared (positive and negative details) to improve time management with the other members of the team, most importantly, carry out administration audits of time to the entire team, in order to help them identify or rethink objectives that help reach the path we are looking for.
Always look for goals and achieve results, above all, learning to prioritize will make us more efficient and even gives us the opportunity to have shorter and more enjoyable work days.
